Have you started your holiday shopping yet? This time of year always sneaks up on me so putting together our annual gift guides is my way of getting a jump start on shopping for my loved ones.
These gifts are sure to delight the book lover in your life …. or give you an excuse to treat yourself.
We’ve included lots of independent shops and creators on this list, so watch those shipping deadlines and do them a favor by getting your orders in early! As supply chain issues continue, ordering early is your best bet to get the items you want on time.
Shopping early also goes a long way towards easing the pressure on small businesses later, during the traditionally brisk period between Thanksgiving and Christmas, not to mention potential shipping delays. And it will lessen your stress in the process!
Keep an eye out for our gift guide for kids who love to read, coming next week. We also have not one but TWO holiday recommendation episodes on What Should I Read Next: our Bookish gifts to delight kids and teens episode is ready for you to listen to right now, and our adult gifting episode is coming next week!
All items featured here were chosen because we love them. If you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission. More info here.

Love this list. Is there any way to get that reading pouch separately? It would be a great gift for my book club gift exchange, but the whole box set is more than our price limit.
I would ask Lady Smith who owns Snail on the Wall!
You can also find all kinds of book pouches on Etsy.
I’d like to share this creator for ideas as well (stocking stuffers, anyone??). I have no connection other than as a customer. I met her 5 years ago at the Louisiana Book Festival. Her bookmarks are my favorite!! https://www.beawesomereadbooks.com
You introduced me to From the Page candles last year, and I may have a problem!! I already have more candles than I can probably burn, but she keeps coming up with ones I *have to have*!
I’ve been coveting that Pemberley hoodie too…
I want all the Elizabeth Wade art prints. I am a librarian and am picturing my office with several of those prints framed and on the wall. They are gorgeous! My childhood in a frame. Thanks for sharing everything on this list.
Great list! I am always looking for great book gifts for all my library staff. Thanks! Bought this for my twin sister. We are both book nerds. Even my grandkids enjoyed it. Book Nerd https://amzn.to/3A0bYSj
I’d respectfully submit another product for your gift list… https://byanavrin.com and their miniatures based on books. Just beautifully crafted!
Great list! I am always looking for great book gifts for all my library staff. Thanks! Bought this for my brother.
Very fun. Thank you! Great way to start the holiday ideas flowing.
