I’ve been sharing daily Kindle deals on the blog since July 2014. This isn’t a book blog, but it’s a bookish community, and my goal is to make it possible to read more of what you want to read, for less cash.
Every morning I scour the internet for good deals: I’m looking for books I personally love, and books I think many of you will be interested in. All deals are hand-selected by me. Unlike other deals lists, I don’t accept paid placements for this list.
I’m happy to announce that through a bit of internet wizardry I only sort of understand, you can now get those deals delivered straight to your inbox every morning. (If you prefer to check the blog every morning, don’t worry—that page won’t change.)
Here’s a refresher on the Kindle deals page.
What to expect
On a typical day, I share 5-7 new deals. (“New” means “new to the MMD deal list.”) I usually editorialize a bit on each book. Some days the deals are fantastic; some days I have to do a lot of searching to find good stuff to share.
Every day, I also share 5-10 books that are “still on sale”—meaning it’s not the first day I shared the deal, but the price is still valid. I typically update the page once per day, between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. Eastern time. Amazon usually changes prices overnight, but prices are subject to change at any time.
If the book is Whispersync-enabled, I’ll say “Add Audible narration for $xx.” (Whispersync deals let you pick up the audio versions at a potentially steep discount. Here’s how Whispersync deals work.)
Right now, the daily kindle deals email is scheduled to go out at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.
If you can’t play
Amazon prices vary by country. I share the U.S. prices in the daily deals list. If you’re not in the U.S., you can use the methods I share here to find your own deals.
