a lifestyle blog for book lovers

Read Savannah—this weekend!

It’s almost time! #READSavannah is happening this Sunday, September 18 at the Hilton Savannah DeSoto and our keynote speaker is the fabulous Liane Moriarty, interviewed by yours truly.

It’s going to be amazing, and I can’t wait to see you there.

If you don’t have your tickets, and you can get yourselves to Savannah for the day (or weekend, just saying) I have good news: we reserved a handful of tickets to give away here on the blog for the afternoon panels and keynote. (This all gets started after the lunch, which sold out a long time ago).

If you’re in a Savannah book club (or within driving distance of Savannah) and you’d like to bring your friends and join us on Sunday, this is your lucky day. We’re giving away tickets to two lucky book clubs. Leave a comment below and you’ll be entered to win tickets for your entire book club. Winners will be chosen randomly tomorrow.

Good luck, and see you Sunday!

This is a dream! I love Liane so much….my girls and I would so love to be there! I’m in Charlotte and have never been to Savannah, which is really inexcusable 🙂

I’m in Atlanta… just a hop, skip, and jump away from Savannah. I’m long overdue for a (re)visit of one of my favorite Southern cities.

I love Liane’s books and think it would be fabulous to attend. Thanks for the opportunity to win tickets!

Savannah is my favorite place to visit! Have an awesome time! Eat ice cream from Leopold’s and visit E. Shaver’s Booksellers and The Book Lady — both in the historic district and within walking distance of the DeSoto. Also, visit The Coffee Fox on Broughton St., and Green Truck Neighborhood Pub and Crystal Beer Parlor are delicious! 🙂 I wish I was joining you down there!

Anne, I have the best book club in the world, and we would love to come see you and Liane in Savannah! What Alice Forgot was one of our books not too long ago. Thank you for the opportunity to win tickets!

I would love to win tickets for the panels and keynote! I used to live in Savannah, and miss so many favorite spots. Hope you have a fantastic weekend.

I am very close to Atlanta and a weekend away listening to speakers about books sounds like a dream! It has been such a hot, hot summer and we haven’t had a chance to get out of town yet. I have been reading and catching up on my summer reading list and would love some fresh input and ideas!! In other words, someone else’s ideas to rejuvenate my mind.

All I need is a few minutes and I can be on my way!!
