Happy Friday, readers! I’m starting this weekend in New York City, recording my audiobook for Don’t Overthink It. I’ve spent most of my time in studio, but I’ve had the opportunity to get out and have a little fun, too, and start a big fat novel. I’m wishing you a wonderful weekend!

My favorite finds from around the web:

Don’t miss these posts:

  • The little things I do that feel like abundant living. This blog post became the foundation of a chapter of Don’t Overthink It. Can you see why? “Recently, my husband reminded me that Don’t overthink it doesn’t have to be just about practicalities and decision-fatigue aversion. Don’t overthink it can also bring a lot more simple abundance into my life.”

Have a great weekend!

Anne—I love these posts. So much food for thought! Would you consider marking NYT links for those of us who hoard our few free views each month? Thank you for all you do.

  2. I love the abundant living post! I recently started buying myself nice pens and it always makes my daily tasks just a little more pleasant. This is an expensive one for sure, but we bought a dyson cordless vacuum at the end of the summer and it has been life-changing. I was sweeping and vacuuming several times a day (3 kids) and it felt like such drudgery. Now I enjoy how satisfying and easy a quick clean up is, plus the kitchen always looks good. It made me realize that, when possible, it’s worth spending money on the things I use every day.

Gerwig’s Little Women is the most magnificent movie I think I have ever seen. I cannot understand how the movie does not sweep any and all award categories. To not even nominate her is beyond ridiculous. Kind of makes the award lose validity to me.

Love your list for Strong Sense of Place! I love all those you listed and realize I must prefer this in a good story.
