Some reading for your very last weekend of 2017…

My favorite finds from around the web:

Why A Wrinkle in Time will change Hollywood. “I felt like we were making the new Wizard of Oz for another generation.”

Favorite instagram:

My daughters gave me this book art for Christmas and I love it.

Your favorite instagram this week—and maybe your favorite instagram of the year, based on the number of likes, was this beauty, decked out for Christmas. (The comments suggest you think I live here. I do not.)

I loved the New Year’s resolutions article, and I’m looking forward to reading more books by women of color. Thanks for posting those.
I think that the Instant Pot article would be more helpful if the author had actually bought an Instant Pot and tried those recipes. Some of her choices look tasty, though.
I hope you and your family have a fabulous New Year!

Happy New Year to you! This was a record year of reading for me, and I think a large part of that was reading your blog and getting so many good recommendations (I don’t I would have read Count of Monte Cristo, The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work, or The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up,among others, without reading your reviews). Really looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings to your blog!
