Last chance to get the preorder bonuses for My Reading Life: A Book Journal

Readers, after two years of preparation, my book My Reading Life: A Book Journal comes out tomorrow! Thank you to everyone who has preordered. It makes such a big difference for authors, now more than ever. If you haven’t preordered yet, there’s still time. We have some great preorder bonuses and I don’t want anyone to miss out.

About the book

Tracking the books you read is one of the best ways I know to improve your reading life. This journal is meant to capture the history of what you’ve read, to help you reflect on the books you’re currently reading, and to provide a supportive structure as you decide on and plan for the books you want to read.

My hope is that this journal will help you both articulate your reading taste and broaden your literary horizons—and boost your enjoyment of the process. In addition to the tracking pages, I’ve included 25 book lists that feature titles from a diverse assortment of authors, genres, themes, and more, as well as seasonal reading suggestions.

Bound in an attractive and sturdy hardcover, this compact book journal fits right in your tote bag, whether you’re going to the library or bookstore, to school, or to work. It makes a great gift, too!

About the preorder bonuses

When you preorder the book and fill out this form, you get the following free bonuses—and you get two of them prior to the book’s release date tomorrow!

  • sneak-peek minimalist reading lists created by me (to tide you over while you wait for your brand-new journal and its abundant book lists)
  • a fun printable bookmark you can put to use in your reading life immediately
  • and you’ll be entered in a literary matchmaking giveaway: five randomly selected winners will each receive five free books—hand-picked by me based on your reading preferences

Hi Anne. I received my journal yesterday and can’t wait to start using it! I’m kind of new to this so I was wondering if you could tell me how to use the Reading Habit Tracker pages in the front. And I saw that there were some free bonuses if you preordered. I did from Amazon but don’t know how to claim the bonuses. Thank you!

I’m looking for the preorder bonus form for my preordered “My Reading Life” from Carmichael’s 7/28/21 order # 44654 and when I use the link above I don’t reach a form. Is it too late for me to get the bonuses? I am a Patreon Member and MMDBC member but I’ve been unable to attempt the process until now.
    Thanks,

Just a heads up, I went into Barnes & Noble to purchase your book and they didn’t have any. When they looked it up in their system they said that it showed that it wasn’t coming out till next year!!!!! The lady said it was weird because it did say that it was a new release but that they weren’t getting any till next year? Also, did you know that Barnes and Noble has you under “Christian Life” I mean I have heard you mention your faith on the blog on occasion but I don’t know that is the first thing I think of when I’ve read your books. I think they have you mis-catergorized!!!
