A quirky noir/murder mystery with a dash of fairytale set in the rural mountains of Poland. Janina prefers animals to humans and spends her days translating poetry, studying astrology, and looking after the summer homes belonging to rich people. Then a neighbor dies unexpectedly. And another one. And another one. Soon Janina begins investigating herself, certain mistreated animals are enacting their revenge. She wouldn’t blame them.
