In this gripping saga, Rahima, an Afghan woman married off young to an evil warlord, flees her abusive marriage and goes into hiding with her daughter. If her husband finds her, she may not survive. She claims to be a widow, as it’s dangerous and shameful to acknowledge he’s still alive. But after a fated encounter, Rahima finds courage and purpose, and joins the Afghan Female Tactical Platoon, a covert special forces unit trained by U.S. Special Ops. In this way, she can work to make her country more safe for its people and especially its women.
