“I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. – Anna Quindlen
We’re settling into our new digs this weekend, so of course this wonderful Anna Quindlen quote has been on my mind.
What do you think? Agree disagree?

Henry Ward Beecher — ‘Books are not made for furniture, but there is nothing else that so beautifully furnishes a house.’
Love this one, too!
Love it!
Success in life!
You can never have enough books or bookshelves. We decided not to have a spare bedroom so I can have a library. Sadly its still not enough room for all my books. So I’m working on strategically placing walls shelves around the house. So far I’m working of a few in corners and stairways.
I love the idea of a library in lieu of a spare room. (Although I wouldn’t mind sleeping in someone else’s library. 🙂 )
Our library is going to be the spare room: built-in bookcases, built-in beds/window seats. The best of all possible worlds!
I love this! If only, if only…
Agree, and then some. I actually feel restless being in a living room that has no books in it — it seems to strike my subconscious that something is amiss!
Totally agree! I’m dreaming of a whole wall of them.
It’s going to be finish of mine day, however before end I am reading
this impressive paragraph to improve my know-how.
