Talking Back (A Reader Survey)

I’ve been wanting to ask you for your input about MMD for ages now, but I was too intimidated about the technical aspects to construct a survey.

Well, I’ve learned (to my embarrassment, and my husband’s amusement) that there was nothing to be afraid of, and so today I have a short survey ready and waiting for you. I’m looking forward to hearing what you have to say!

The first 3 questions are easy-breezy, check-the-box demographic questions that will bore you, but only for about 6 seconds. I’m asking because anybody who wants to know anything about this blog first wants to know who’s reading it, and you are the ones who can best answer that question.

The next few questions about how you access the blog will help me make sure the site is easy for you to visit.

After that, we’re moving on to the fun stuff.  I want to make reading this blog a great experience for you, and that’s what the last few questions are about.

And when we’re all done, I’ll share some of the interesting answers here.

Thanks so much for your input! I appreciate it–and you!–so much.

I wasnt sure how to submit the survey so I am including what I wrote there here.

I like knowing that you work outside the home as well. A lot of the blogs I read they don’t work outside the home. I’ve been working all my adult life even after I had my children. I find it to be less stress than parenting. Parenting did not and does not come easily to me. But I try. Of course I feel I could be trying more.
    Thank you.

Allison, thanks so much. There should be a “submit” button at the bottom of the survey. After you click it, you should be able to scroll up and see a message that says something like “Thanks, your response has been recorded.”

I’m saying this here for everyone’s benefit 🙂

I wanted to click on Books/Reading AND Family/Relationships AND Reflections/Inspiration, but the survey only let me pick one so I went with R/I because you’re really good at it. Then again you’re good at the other stuff too, hence my wanting to click on them. Shoot, you’re good at the stuff I didn’t intend to click on either.

Your “Anne with an E” website is another good read, so I’d like to see more there too. Not that you have oodles of time to fill all these with your writing product, Anne, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask!

P.S. Thanks for commenting on the guest post I did over at kingdomcivics.com. Someone reads my guest posts, woo-hoo!

I couldn’t find the submit button. Is it maybe a browser issue? Or maybe I didn’t get enough sleep last night 😉

I couldn’t find the submit button either. 🙁
I’m on Internet Explorer…anyone have any pointers?
But for the record, Anne, I LOVE your blog!!!

Sarah, look at Heather’s tip just above. Sorry for the trouble; next time I’ll know not to end with a paragraph response box that hides the submit button! Thanks for bearing with me.
