Win a copy of The Brontë Plot two months before publication date!

Win a copy of The Brontë Plot two months before publication date!

Good news, readers. Today I have THREE advanced reader copies of Katherine Reay’s forthcoming book The Brontë Plot to give away, courtesy of Harper Collins Christian Publishing.

Many of you know and love Reay from her previous novels Dear Mr. Knightley and Lizzy & Jane. Her new novel, due out November 3, tells the story of Lucy Alling, a rare book seller with a dirty little secret.

When Lucy is busted, it ruins her relationship with her boss and her boyfriend. The discovery sends her on a journey to Europe and into the past, until everything—past and present—comes to a head at Haworth, the home of the Brontë sisters. I love a good redemption story, and this one delivers.

(Heads up: for reasons I do not understand, the pre-order price for the kindle edition of The Brontë Plot is only $4.99 over at Amazon right now. That’s a great deal, and I’d preorder now if you’re interested … but you’re still going to have to wait till November to read it.)

To find out more about Katherine Reay and her novels:

My review of sorts of Dear Mr. Knightley.

My interview with Reay about Lizzy & Jane. We talked about books, her favorite Austen novels, bibliotherapy, and the Brontë sisters.

If you have not read anything by her, please do!

I saw this title on Hatchard’s website – its my favorite bookstore in London and whenever my husband goes there for business, I always have him bring me back at least a few books (since they seem to get British author’s books about a year before they journey across the pond, as well as other titles you can’t get here). I have my brother’s old high school copy of Jane Eyre in my purse ready to read whenever I’m waiting somewhere, but its been a slow read. Babies, school, work have slowed me down a bit.
