Back in grad school a stylist made me grow my bangs out because I wanted to look older and they were giving me a “Winnie Cooper look”. I think she was right. I have a very round face. You don’t have that problem!

Interesting article on bangs. And that is exactly the reason I toy with getting them again, because they are interesting and give a bit of the mystique.

Sigh. Why do all of those bookstores have to be in Europe? I love the boat ones!
Also, I will totally go out of my way and rearrange my sentence structure to avoid the word “whom”.

Loved reading these links but I’ve gotta say … I did not warm to the Anne illustrations. That’s not the Anne in my mind! Beautiful colours though.
What is your favorite Anne book? Anne of the Island has been my favorite for many years, though I re-read the entire series annually. I do think more of the married/with children books may grow on me more as I now have children of my own!
Hmmm. My favorite shifts, but I definitely know my least favorite. That would be Windy Poplars.
Your bangs are gorgeous, but I think it’s pretty readily apparent that you’re an interesting person, regardless of hairstyle. 🙂
