A Crazy Good Work Shift Sale, and My Black Friday Shopping Plans

I’m not much of a Black Friday shopper, but I’m joining in the fun (or craziness, depending on your perspective) to offer YOU a fantastic deal on Work Shift!

If you’re not familiar with the book, head over here for the lowdown on Work Shift: How to Create a Better Blend of Work, Life, and Family. It’s for women (and men) who have ever felt the tension between pursuing work they love (or just balancing the family budget) and being present for their families.

Through Monday night, you can get the book for just $2.99 (a big discount from the regular $8 price).

Here’s how to get Work Shift for $2.99:

Get it for your Kindle! (Yep, it’s just $2.99 over at Amazon–no coupon code needed.)

Visit the Work Shift website for more info, including what you’ll learn, testimonials, and the table of contents.

I’m doing a tiny bit of Black Friday shopping today, but I’m doing my shopping online. I’m hitting up some of my favorite handmade shops for a few Christmas gifts and replenishing my husband’s work wardrobe from The Gap. (Heads up: if you’re shopping Gap or Old Navy from home, sign up for Ebates to get 10% cash back for those stores right now.)

What are your thoughts on Black Friday shopping? Are you heading out or avoiding it like the plague?

  1. Tim says:

Not a fan. That said, my wife and son wanted to get there early to make sure the store wasn’t out of what he wanted. That meant I woke up at 5:15 today, yikes! Done by 8:00, though and missed the crowds. Then back to my in laws and we went for a long run. Not a bad Black Friday so far.

I’d rather write about shopping (so I posted about it today) than do it anyway.
