NatureBox September 15-7

In an act of either brilliance or stupidity, Will and I signed up all four kids for Little League this fall.

In the stupidity column: there are some weeks we’re at the ballpark six days.

As for brilliance: there are some nights when all four kids have games or practices at the same time. Plus, even if the schedule gets really bad, the season’s only six weeks long.

We usually stay close to home and keep a low-key schedule, but our family rhythms have a different feel during this season. We’re in the car a ton. We’re not eating actual dinners as often. And we are doing a whole lot of snacking.

I’m getting a little better about being on the go: our car is stocked with napkins, wet wipes, and little cupcake holders for easy snacking. An emergency package of something tasty (that won’t melt) waits in the glove compartment for blood sugar emergencies. Our pantry at home is stocked with more snacky stuff than usual.

One of my kids’ favorite snack providers is NatureBox, an online snack company that makes smart, delicious snacking easy.

Their snacks are made from high quality ingredients with no artificial nonsense like high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

You can choose what snacks are included in your box, every time, so you can try new snacks each month. NatureBox adds new snacks every month so there’s always something new to discover.

You pick the box size and delivery frequency that’s right for you. You can also change, pause or cancel your shipments at any time.

NatureBox has over 100 snacks to choose from; it’s easy to sort by ingredient, flavor, or dietary needs. This month we’re especially loving the probiotic power mix, big island pineapple, and chipotle maple almonds. (The chipotle almonds are so spicy the kids can only eat a few at a time, which is very handy for the hungry adults nearby.)

Silas with a handful of praline pumpkin seeds. I hid a handful from the kids so I could drop them on my salad with greens, apples, blue cheese, and dried cranberries. So good.

NatureBox is giving two lucky readers a free 6-month membership. To enter, check out their snack catalog and leave a comment on this post with the snack you’d most like to try. Two winners will be chosen at random. Good luck!

  1. Anna says:

Looking through those snacks made me hungry. I would pick the blueberry almonds or the sweet and simple nut mix. There are lots I would want to try, though.

  2. Sarah says:

I’m pregnant and loving anything savory, so I’d pick the honey dijon pretzels. I’d also like to try the whole grain animal crackers for my two year old.

  3. amomblessed says:

Those Fruit Stars are adorable (never thought I’d say that about a snack! 😉 ). I’d like to try the Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Bites and the Apple Cinnamon Crunch. 🙂

  4. Lori M says:

I filtered by “less than 15g carbs” and “protein packed” because of Diabetes in the family. I was happy to see a lit of choices! The Asiago & Cheddar Cheese Crisps and the Sea Salt Sun-Crunch look delicious!

  5. Lisa Lundgren says:

Oh my, what a bounty to choose from! I think the Roasted Garlic Pumpkin Seeds would be my first thing to try! Thank you.
