a lifestyle blog for book lovers

Good morning and happy Saturday! Today is a special day for me: it’s Saturday June 17, which is the day and date we got married, 17 years ago today.

An anniversary read: my adolescent marriage.

My favorite finds from around the web:

• Making a marriage magically tidy.

• Time after time: why modern authors continue to adapt Jane Austen.

• Would these literary couples still be together? 10 literary romances, put to the happily-ever-after test.

• Take a look: an oral history of Reading Rainbow.

Favorite instagram:

The blues are my favorite. (Follow me on instagram @annebogel.)

On the blog:

My book is available for pre-order! Thanks so much for your support. It means the world, and I am FLOORED by your enthusiasm. Thank you!

One year ago: My summer uniform

Two years ago: Put yourself on the clock

Three years ago: 40 favorite audiobooks for kids

Four years ago: It’s more than a kid hangover. (On highly sensitive people.)

Five years ago: Books I’m afraid to recommend

Have a great weekend!
