My favorite finds from around the web:
• American Library Association announces 2017 youth media award winners. All the award winners and honor books for the Newbery, Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, Printz, Alex, and more awards.
• 7 bonus bullet journal lessons, from the Lazy Genius.
• 13 extra-long books to read while you wait for spring.
• The best indoor plants to bring green into your home (and how to keep them alive).
It’s that time of year…
The time when nothing is growing in my yard, of course. I just tried BloomThat for the first time; bouquet pictured above. (I’m especially loving the succulent and cabbage rose!) Save 15% off your first order with the code MRSDARCY15. Good through February 14.
(And if you happen to want flowers for that certain day in February, they have a wonderful assortment of anything-but-red-roses, and some special Galentine’s selections as well. Click here to check out their flowers.)

Hi Anne,
I was wondering, are you planning to share about books you are looking forward to that are being published this year? I know it was one of the categories for last year’s challenge, but I was hoping you might talk about upcoming books in 2017. 🙂
Also, I forgot to mention, I have tried several times to find some older posts on your blog using your search boxes at the bottom of the webpage, but every time I’ve tried it always takes me back to your home page. Just wanted to let you know. 🙂
Oh no! Thanks for letting me know.
I’m probably not making a list this year, but believe me, I am searching hard for what’s coming down the pike, especially for the summer reading months!
Oh, wow! Five of those 13 extra-long books are on my list for 2017! I knew Cryptonomicon was long, and suspected the same about Lonesome Dove, but didn’t realize The Passage, Barkskins, and Strange/Norrell were so long! I had better get moving!
