Did you see I shared ten of my most favorite #bookstagram accounts on the blog this week?

On the blog:

One year ago: 40 great book club novels. “These novels are packed with discussion fodder. This list contains old books, modern classics, contemporary fiction. You’ll find character-driven novels, novels that don’t resolve, novels with unreliable narrators. You’ll read about characters who were forced to make a life-changing decision, or an impossible one. You’ll read classics that you can’t believe you didn’t “get” in high school.”

Two years ago: 37 fun, useful, and generally worthwhile gifts for your kids’ Easter baskets.

Three years ago: What I’m really paying for when I pay $22 for lipstick. “I don’t enjoy the hunt. I just want to get it right.”

Four years ago: My favorite natural skincare trick.

Have a great weekend!

Great reads! I especially loved the piece on doing, not thinking. Last year, instead of choosing a word for the year, I chose a quote-

“You do it because the doing of it is the thing. The doing is the thing. The talking and worrying and thinking is not the thing.” – Amy Poehler

I let this guide my entire year, and I finally let go of things that I just wasn’t ever going to do, and began DOING the things I had been talking and thinking about. Amy Poehler for the win!
