My favorite finds from around the web:
• Two questions that will transform your relationships. “A good question is better than a good answer, because a good answer means the end of the conversation.”
• 25 Things About Life I Wish I Had Known 10 Years Ago. Struggle is good. Rest before you are tired. There is no endgame.
• A library scavenger hunt for exploring the stacks. “Getting to know your library in and out will broaden your knowledge of the library and potentially help you discover new favorites.” (I also had a job shelving books in college and completely relate to the author’s experience.)
• What romance really means after ten years of marriage. “After a decade of marriage, if things go well, you don’t need any more proof. What you have instead — and what I would argue is the most deeply romantic thing of all — is this palpable, reassuring sense that it’s okay to be a human being.”

I snapped this right before I broke open that new notebook to finally, finally set up my first bullet journal. More on that next week. (Follow me on instagram @annebogel.)
On the blog:
One year ago: Why I recommend books that use the f-word. “Good fiction challenges you; it pushes your boundaries. A great book pushes you outside your comfort zone and forces you to re-think your assumptions.”
Two years ago: I need to live like this is my home. “I don’t usually suffer from Pinterest envy or instagram angst, but I felt a stab of something when I looked at those listings. I couldn’t help but notice that those houses all looked lived in. They looked decorated; they felt complete. Mine … doesn’t.”
Three years ago: My daughter wants a blog for her birthday. “My daughter has her blog all planned out: she wants to learn to type, and make lists, and long-term plans. She wants to write and write and write. She wants to take pictures and make crafts. She wants to ask her big brother to be her copyeditor. Is the blog necessary for all this? No. But it’s wonderful motivation.”
Four years ago: The tyranny of the library. “Book lover that I am, I experience my own unique brand of the tyranny of the urgent. I’m calling it the tyranny of the library.”
Have a great weekend!

I too started my first bullet journal this week. So far I’m loving it. I feel more productive by using it! Can’t wait to read your thoughts as you start yours up.
I love the tyranny of the library one! I often request books that look interesting that then bump other priority reads. This was helpful 🙂
In other news: Harper Lee has died. 🙁
I love that article about romance, great list as usual!
Great articles!.
Love the Dewey Decimal Generator that’s buried in the Library Scavenger Hunt! I always end up browsing the nonfiction when I have extra time at the library and it’s fascinating to see what’s hanging out in different sections.
Also chuckled at the romance article. That is the sort marriage I’m looking forward to having!
I am doing bullet lists in The 52 List Project. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.
Thank you for the link love, my friend. I’m STILL working on asking good questions. I’ve never yet been disappointed by the conversation that happens as a result. Many blessings, Rachel
Loving the “25 Things About Life I Wish I Had Known 10 Years Ago” link.
