Booking It (February 2013 Edition)

I’m back at Life as Mom talking about some of my favorite February reads with Jessica and Carrie.

This month I share two titles, one old and one new. I love both Jessica’s picks: I’ve mentioned them here on MMD more than once. Carrie picked one book that inspired a popular British show. I hated admitting that I found Carrie’s second pick disappointing because it made me feel pretty shallow, and if you head on over to see my second pick you’ll see why!

I just had to tell you that I just finished reading Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day at your recommendation. So often I’m hesitant to read “classics” for fear of them being dry and boring, but I loved it! It’s definitely one of my favourite books. Now I’m going to have to watch the movie. Thanks for passing along a great title.
