Announcing The Book That Changed My Life Carnival

My YA summer reading list

I’m excited to announce the very first Modern Mrs Darcy blog carnival!

The theme is “The Book That Changed My Life.” The date is Monday April 30. Here’s how to participate:

    • On or before April 30, write a post on your own blog about a life-changing book you’ve read.
    • It doesn’t matter if you post every day or every 6 months. Just post it to your blog so you can link it up!
    • Include the carnival graphic (or a text link)  somewhere in your post so that your readers can read about others’ life-changing books, too.

Then come back to Modern Mrs Darcy on Monday April 30. Link up your post so we can visit your blog and read about The Book That Changed Your Life. (If you’ve never linked up a post before, I promise you, it’s a breeze.)

Then you can click around to read and comment on each other’s picks. I’ll be sharing your favorite posts (and mine) on facebook and twitter, and on the blog later in the week. (Join my facebook community here, or follow me on twitter here.)

Sound good? Let’s go! I can’t wait to read every last post that you link up on April 30.

UPDATE: Go here to visit The Book That Changed My Life Carnival link-up!

I came here from Alia’s Narrow Path. I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s books. I won’t have time to post one today, but I have subscribed and am looking forward.

We appreciate a good conversation in the comments section. Whether we’re talking about books or life, differing opinions can enrich a discussion when they’re offered for the purpose of greater connection and deeper understanding, which we whole-heartedly support. However, my team and I will delete comments that are hurtful or intended to shame members of this community, particularly if they are left by first-time commenters. We have zero tolerance for hate speech or bigotry of any kind. Remember that there are real people on the other side of the screen. We’re grateful our community of readers is characterized by kindness, curiosity, and thoughtfulness. Thank you for helping us keep it that way.
